As CEO of Better Building Systems, and over thirty years as an owner/operator of a construction company serving Southern Nevada, Bill has extensive hospitality/gaming construction industry experience, bringing both integrity driven strong client relationships and industry resources to Better Building Systems. Along with his determination for excellence, Bill has directed recruitment and retention of supervisors, staff, and craftsman of 350 employees successfully. Bill is a hands on leader involved in all aspects of company management including; prospect development and execution, company and project strategic planning, and contract negotiations.
Bill J. Shoning, President of Construction – Bill’s Experience
Bill is experienced and highly qualified in field operational supervision of hotel & resort industry related projects, commercial projects, industrial, and tenant improvements. Bill develops strong communication with Owners, Architects, Designers, Engineers, and Subcontractors from the initial commencement to the final completion, creating a unified atmosphere of goal-oriented success. While analyzing and executing effective staff and tradesman coordination, Bill establishes construction schedule fluidity that meets both owner and project specific demands successfully.
Todd Gibson, Vice President of Constriction – Todd’s Experience
With over thirty years construction experience as a builder, Todd is a productive detail driven manager that has experience within all aspects of construction, from residential projects, to light commercial (office, retail, warehouse), and heavy commercial including freeway bridges to casino/resort construction. Todd brings to the executive team an ability to recognize unique requirements early on to effectively team and track all building construction, ultimately determining the successful organizational support to every project.
Gina Aiken, CFO – Gina’s Experience
A Las Vegas native and UNLV graduate with over 32 years experience in both public and private industry, Gina has spent the majority of that time emphasizing in construction accounting. She brings to the executive team her knowledge of financial accounting, AIA billing, human resources, and payroll. Her interpersonal skills, integrity, and work ethic make her a valuable member of our team.
